empaths abstain from energy drain

Empath drain is real. Our reservoir of energy needs to remain on Full at all times, but life circumstances and interactions with others can drain and deplete our energy on a regular basis. Once we learn to protect and preserve our energy, life and emotions become easier to manage. As empaths, we must learn to lean on the Divine reservoir of energy to fulfill our service work. 

The energy we were born with and contained within our being is for us alone. For this reason, if you are going to share your energy with someone, you want to make sure that they are worthy of sharing your energy. You want to make sure that they can match your energy and respect and honor it. As we become more mature empaths, we recognize that we have a responsibility to protect our energy and life force. We do this by being selective about who and what gets our time and resources. This includes people, places, situations, events, and investments.
