How do I deal with invasive or intrusive thoughts? What are the coping strategies?
How do I cope with emotional heaviness associated with trauma from my past?

Be practical. Don’t watch or read or listen to scary/disturbing things before bedtime, if at all.
As an empath, you may be holding space for others going through what you are experiencing. Clear the energy.
