release shame

Who first shamed you? Did you shame yourself? Most likely, shame occurred because of the opinion, judgements, and criticisms of others. Usually, shame began with early caregivers, including parents, teachers, coaches, neighbors and others. Many of us hold shame not only in our minds, but also in our bodies. This affects our sensuality, sexual expression, and overall self-concept in so many areas of our lives. Shame acts as a policing force that keeps us imprisoned from peace and self-acceptance. Let’s let shame go. It’s stale residue from something from the past that doesn’t deserve to haunt you now. You deserve to be free. Let’s clear this energy.
